The title of Hazrat Hakeem Bin Hazam رضی اللہ عنہis Abu-Khalid and his connection from the branch of Quraishi family Banu Asadi’s family. He is the son of brother of Mother of Momineen, Hazrat Khadijah رضی اللہ عنہا. His one quality is this that in era of before Islam his mother (when he was in her stomach) she went to give immolation on the idols in Ka’aba. So in the middle of Ka’aba Hakeem Bin Hazam got born. In the era before Islam and of Islam both, he is thought to be from the gentlemen of Quraish. In the year 8th Hujri of conques of Makkah, he accepted Islam. He was very intelligent, judging and educated and pious. He bought 100 servants and made them free and gives 100 camels to those travelers who didn’t have animals travel. He got age of 120 years, 60 years in condition of kufr and 60 years he spent in Islamic life. In 45 Hijri, on the place of Madina, he died. (1 kamal, S: 561). His famous wonder is this that he was a trader. He kept on doing trade throughout life but never and nowhere and in any deal, had he got no loss or mislaying. Instead if he would even buy so he got benefit in it because Prophet ﷺ prayed for him this that (اللھم بارک فی صنعتہ) (O Allah! Give beatitude in his trade) (Kanz-ul-Amal, J 12, and S: 362). It is in the narrations of Tirmizi and Abu Daood that Prophet ﷺ gave him 2 denaars and sent him to buy 1 sheep so he bought 2 sheep from one denaar and then sold one sheep from them in 1 denar and came in service of Prophet ﷺ and presented one sheep and 2 denars. Prophet ﷺ gave one denar from it in Allah’s way and then by becoming happy gave him dua of beatitude in trade. (Mishkat S: 254, Baab-ul-Shirka, Walwakalat)
Hazrat Ammar Bin Yasir رضی اللہ عنہ:
He is from old Muslims and from early migrators and he is among those troublesome companions to whom non Muslims of Makkah gave so much pains that to think them also the hairs of body stands. The cruel people made him lay on burning fire. Therefore, he used to lay on burning fire coals and when Prophet ﷺ used to pass by from him and he used to call him as O Prophet ﷺ so Prophet ﷺ used to say to fire for him (یانار کونی بردا وسلاما علی عمار کما کنت علی ابراہیم) (O fire, you become as cold on Ammar and protective as you become cold and protective on Hazrat Ibrahim AS) Abu Jahal irritated his mother Hazrat Bibi Sumaiya رضی اللہ عنہا due to accepting Islam. Till this that struck lance below her belly button, from which her soul departed and she got martyred first of all in Islamic era. Hazrat Prophet ﷺ used to call Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہ with Tayyab and Mutayyab title. He got martyred in 37 Hijri in 93 years of age. (Akmal, S: 607)
Never his swear got broken:
The famous wonder of Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہis this that he would swear on which thing, Allah جل جلالہ used to fulfill his swear always because Prophet ﷺ said about him that (کم من ذی طموین لایوبہ لو اقسم علی اللہ لابرہ منھم عمار بن یاسر) (Kanz-ul-amal 12, S: 295) ( Translation: How many hidden people are there that people don’t care about them but when they swear on something so Allah will surely fulfill their swear and from these people is Ammar Bin Yasir رضی اللہ عنہalso)
Defeated Satan 3 times:
Hazrat Ali رضی اللہ عنہsaid that Prophet ﷺ sent Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہfor filling water. Satan in form of one black servant, started stopping Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہfrom filling the water and agreed on fighting. Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہdefeated him so he started doing begging. Similarly, three times Satan stopped him from filling water and got agreed on fighting and all 3 times he defeated him. The time on which the fight was going on with Satan, Prophet ﷺ told his companions in his sitting that today Ammar has defeated Satan 3 times, who is fighting with him in form of one black servant. When Ammar رضی اللہ عنہcame with water, one of them said that Prophet ﷺ has said about you that you have defeated Satan 3 times. After listening this Hazrat Ammar رضی اللہ عنہsaid that swear by Allah! I didn’t know that he is Satan; otherwise I would have killed him. In fact, third time I was very angry and I decided that I will bite his nose from teeth. But when I brought my mouth close to his nose so I felt some very bad smell, that’s why I moved back and his nose got safe. (Shawahid-un-Nubawwat, S: 218, Matboa Nolakshor press Lakhnao)
